Stacey graduated in 2016 at the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (now Evolve College) with 2204 credit hours and is a member in good standing with Natural Health Practitioners of Canada (NHPC). She has also supplemented this education with Craniosacral Therapy level 1, Thai Massage and incorporates techniques from myofascial and Swedish relaxation.
She has worked in a wide variety of spaces including spas, clinics and mobile and in a variety of locations, including Quebec, the Whiteshell and Riding Mountain National Park.
Stacey has volunteered at a hospital in Mongolia and at several sports and community events.
Her experience in Mongolia led her to consider an approach with holistic intention and pathways in mind rather than segmented musculoskeletal areas. Her approach is generally slow and deep, highlighting her thoughtful and caring personality as she ´listens’ with her hands to facilitate presence in oneself and connect with the body's natural processes of healing. Her treatments have been described as "intuitive, wise, and thorough."  She is an animal lover and a firm believer that getting outdoors is part of a healthy lifestyle. You might even see her walking in the neighbourhood with a black husky with white eyes!

Krista Funk RMT

Krista graduated from the Massage Therapy College of Manitoba (MTCM) in February 2015 and is a member of the Massage Therapy Association of Manitoba (MTAM). With a background in music and mediation, Krista ventured into the massage profession and discovered a wonderful symbiotic relationship between these three life passions. She greatly enjoys working with a diversity of clients with a wide range of ages and health concerns. She believes in educating people to encourage them as active participants in their wellness journey and in developing greater body-mind awareness. As a singer, she also strives to help facilitate good breathing habits. Krista applies her intuition and orthopedic assessment skills to identify problem areas and then applies treatment-based and relaxation techniques tailored to the client’s specific needs in a compassionate, supportive environment (with sweet music). She has specific training in: advanced massage techniques, myofascial release, scar tissue work, trigger point techniques, orthopedic assessment, injury and post-surgery rehabilitation, hydrotherapy and the first level of craniosacral therapy (and in jazz, opera, folk – ha ha!) She is particularly interested in myofascial work and therapeutic treatments for postural and repetitive-use issues from neck and TMJ issues to hip, lower leg and feet conditions.
