CUSTOMIZED THERAPEUTIC MASSAGE THERAPY
This treatment is based on the principle of the client's musculoskeletal needs where a combination of remedial massage methods can be incorporated such as: DEEP TISSUE, SWEDISH RELAXATION, TRIGGER POINT and FASCIAL RELEASE THERAPY
PRENATAL AND POSTNATAL MASSAGE THERAPY
This treatment is customized for the special needs during pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.
During pregnancy massage may help to stabilize hormones to reduce stress and increase relaxation, relieve muscle tension and improve circulation, improve posture, and help with swelling which may also help improve labor and newborn health.
Postpartum care is an important part of the birthing process. Massage therapy can help to relieve muscle tension from the birthing process and breast feeding, restore the muscle tone around the abdomen and pelvis and help provide emotional support to relieve stress, anxiety and depression.
When needed a specific table is used to help support the expecting mother and child.
CHAKRA BALANCING MASSAGE THERAPY
This treatment focuses on the combination of massage and the realignment of the body's energy systems. It is an ancient belief that there are seven energetic power points within the body that, when unbalanced, can have effects to the mind, body and/or spirit. This full body massage is intended to realign the chakras and redistribute an equal balance within them. This is achieved through the intuition of the therapist, the aid of therapeutic essential oils, music, stones and crystals, and most importantly the participation of the client.
This is a gentle, precise, hands-on therapy where the therapist works with the whole body to detect disturbances that may cause restrictions with the spine, cranial bones, sacrum, diaphragms and fascia, as well as balancing the flow of cerebral spinal fluid that surrounds the brain and spinal cord. This is done to help restore and balance the nervous system while releasing the effects of stress, injury and trauma in the body.
Depending on the needs of the client, this treatment may be done on it's own or integrated with massage therapy.
